Serving Houston since 1999, MedXSunshine draws on extensive modern activity space and community resources to provide purposeful, compassionate daytime support for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and neurodivergent individuals.

Cooking & NutritionBuild self-care step by step through simple microwave and rice-cooker recipes, baking, cake decorating, and nutrition education.
Exercise & outdoors
Exercise & OutdoorsStart with 30 minutes of morning movement, then use park walks and nature activities to support health, sensory regulation, and relaxation.
Community service
Community WorkVolunteer with organizations such as Houston Food Bank and Interfaith Ministries, building responsibility, workplace habits, and community connection through contribution.

A day with rhythm
and room to reset
A clear, predictable rhythm balances movement, instruction, real-world learning, and emotional regulation. Sessions include 5–10 minute breaks.

Under 26 TAC §52.103(f), enrollment, administrative, and routine activity surcharges are prohibited. Final eligibility and service coverage are subject to the applicable program review.
